Acetaminophen (Dose)

A

15 mg/kg PO to be given every 4 hours, not to exceed 5 doses per day

Acetaminophen (SE and SN)

A

May be administered via rectal suppository (same dose) if patient is vomiting, the patient’s gag reflex is absent or is in question or the patient is not alert
