I was frustrated at first, but happy to have a day off.

It was my son Sean´s birthday on Tuesday. It is difficult to not live near him on days like this.
Era el cumpleaños de mi hijo Sean el martes. Es difícil no vivir cerca de él en días como este.
Veronica is still recuperating from surgery. She will stay home at least one more week.
Veronica todavía se está recuperando de la cirugía. Ella se quedará en casa al menos una semana más.
I fly to New York on Monday. I arrive one day before the event. At the event, my boss, Roy, and Caroline Kennedy will receive an honor for supporting the poetry project.

Tomorrow we will go to a friend´s birthday party. She and her family live near the beach in Canet, next to Sagunto. This is a group of Veronica´s Spanish friends. I will try to speak more Spanish.
Mañana iremos a la fiesta de cumpleaños de un amigo. Ella y su familia viven cerca de la playa de Canet, al lado de Sagunto. Este es un grupo de amigos españoles de Veronica. Trataré de hablar más español.
I saw this travel brochure the other day. Wow. Ceredeña looks wonderful.
Vi este folleto de viaje el otro día. Guau. Ceredeña se ve maravilloso.

A normal week; nothing too unusual. A golf competition on Monday. I did not do so well. And a few hours of work each day.
