We had a fantastic weekend.

On Saturday, we walked from their hotel to El Carmen.
El sabado, caminamos desde sus hotel a El Carmen.
We crossed the river on the bridge of flowers, walked past the Puerta del Mar, and down Calle La Paz to the plazas.
Cruzamos el rio por el Puente del Flores, pasamos por la Puerta Del Mar, y caminamos por la Calle La Paz hasta las plazas.
We ate tapas on the terrace in Plaza del Virgen.
Comimos tapas en la terraza de la Plaza de la Virgen.
The bar is at the northwest part of the plaza and is inexpensive.
El bar esta en la parte de noroeste de la plaza y es barato.
After the meal, we visited San Nicolas church.
Despues de la comida, visitamos la iglesias de San Nicolas.
I have visited the church five, six times but this was my first time to use the audio guide.
He visitado la iglesia cinco, seis veces pero esta fue la primero vez que use la audioguia.
It is the only option now, but the audioguide makes the visit much better.

We walked with the three of them back to the hotel on the river.

On Saturday night, Fernando, Veronica’s brother en Madrid, came by train to Valencia. We then all went to Al Solito Posto, an Italian restaurant near the City of Arts and Sciences.
El sabado por la noche, Fernando, hermano de Verónica en Madrid, llega en tren a Valencia. Luego todos fuimos a Al Solito Posto, un restaurante de Italiano cerca de la Ciudad de las Artes y Ciences.
On Sunday morning, we all went to the residencia to see Ricardo, Veronica’s, Gustavo’s and Fernando’s father.
El domingo por la mañana, todas fuimos a la residencia para ver a Ricardo, padre de Veronica, Gustavo y Fernando.
It was a wonderful visit. Ricardo was very alert and talked more than in over one year.
Fue una visita maravillosa. Ricardo estuvo muy alerta y habló más que en más de un año.
It made me happy. I cried silently thinking of my own father who died seven years ago.
Me hizo feliz. Lloré en silencio pensando en mi propio padre que murió hace siete años.
