Vero and I had a relaxing four day weekend.

On Thursday, we went to Cullera for the afternoon.
El jueves fuimos a Cullera por la tarde.
This was my second visit. I visited Cullera for the first time four years ago.
Esta fue mi segunda visita. Visité Cullera por primera vez hace cuatro años.
We parked the car south of the main beach.
Aparcamos el coche al sur de la playa principal.
We were tired, so we took a short nap on a small hill of sand.
Estábamos cansados, dormimos una siesta corta en la arena.
After the nap, we walked on the beach and boardwalk for about 30 minutes.
Después de la siesta, caminamos por la playa y el paseo marítimo durante unos 30 minutos.
We then ate a very fancy restaurant. The name of the restaurant was Burger King.
Luego comimos un restaurante muy elegante. El nombre del restaurante era Burger King.
On our return trip, we enjoyed the scenery. We drove past the beautiful La Devesa and El Saler areas.
En nuestro viaje de regreso, disfrutamos del paisaje. Pasamos por las hermosas zonas de La Devesa y El Saler.
On Friday, we stayed in Valencia and had another relaxing day.
El viernes nos quedamos en Valencia y tuvimos otro día de relax.
We met Vero’s friend Marimar, at Playa Patacona and had another elegant lunch under the sun. I ate a French omelet with bacon bocadillo lunch at Restaurant Levant.
Nos encontramos con la amiga de Vero, Marimar, en Playa Patacona y tuvimos otro elegante almuerzo bajo el sol. Comí una bocadillo de tortilla francesa con beicon en el restaurante Levant.
In the evening, we watched an excellent Argentinian movie at the cinema. The movie was “El Amor por Menos Pensado.”
Por la noche, vimos una excelente película argentina en el cine. La película era “El amor por menos pensado”.
As always, I ordered a large popcorn and Coke Zero. It made me full. Veronica only had one handful of popcorn.
Como siempre, pedí unas palomitas grandes y Coca Cola Cero. Me llenó. Verónica solo comió un puñado de palomitas.
The famous stars in the movie are Ricardo Darin and Mercedes Moran.

They did a great job of showing the complexities of being husband and wife for so many years.
