Educational approaches e.g. pamphlets, posters exercise prescriptions/plans
What are good ways to promote PA?
- Think of fun ways to get involved
- Make it personalised
- Family involvement
- Remember one person being physically active makes others physically active
Why does education not lead to behaviour change?
Either people are not convinced its important enough or its more complicated than simply telling people why and expecting them to do it

What is the social-ecological framework?
a theoretical approach used to understand how different levels of influence impact individual behavior and well-being within the context of their environment

Why are individuals in the centre of the social-ecological framework?
It is ultimately up to the individual if they want to be active
- All the circles around the individual show they are all having an influence on the individual

- Motivation lacking

- No knowledge
