Fibularis longus

A

Origin: superior lateral fibula/lateral tibia condyle
Insert: descends onto top of foot and crosses under to medial cuneiform and base of metatarsal 1
Action: Eversion and plantarflexion of foot
Innervation: Superficial fibula (peroneal nerve)

Origin: Inferolateral fibula shaft
Insert: tubercle on Metatarsal 5
Action: Eversion of foot
Innervation: Superficial fibular (peroneal) nerve
