What are the general characteristics of children with SLI?

A

Only have impairement in language, not with intelligence; issue could stem from them just being poor at linguistics or an issue with cognition, audition, intelligence, perception, and sensation; heschl’s gyrus and the planum temporale may be the areas affected in SLI.
