Declaration of Security
declaration that addresses the security requirements that could be shared between the port facility and the ship (or between ships) and will state the responsibilities each will take.
ISPS what would you expect for a survey?
-ship security controls are being implemented at all times
-access control procedures clearly implemented
-SSP protected from unauthorised access.
- security level is correct and all personnel are aware of the current level.
- security equipment maintained.
-drills are being carried out regularly
-restricted areas are clearly identified
-CSO is readily identified by crew.
