Study and application of how the brain learns. Considers mental states (beliefs, motivations, and desires).
Developmental Psychologist
Studies how humans change and offers a variety of theories to help us understand what we can expect and what is happening to us at different times in our lives.
Biological Psychologist
Study of the brain (blood flow, electrical activity). Cannot answer questions about motivation, or why people choose to behave differently in similar situations.
