A

lesser pelvis = bond framework for pelvic cavity and deep perineum

(space inside the bony ring of the pelvis inferior to the pelvic rim)

greater pelvis = pelvis by bony boundaries but abdominal in terms of contents

(inferior part of abdominal cavity protected by iliac fossa)
