Make sure patient is taking antiretroviral therapy

Clinical features of HIV-associated nephropathy
A
- massive proteinuria resulting in nephrotic syndrome
- normal or large kidneys
- FSGS with focal or global capillary collapse on renal biopsy
- elevated urea and creatinine
- normotension
