What does JAK2 do?
A
It turns off the production signaling. So if it doesn’t work, like in many neoplasms, things keep getting produced.

PV: JAK2 = 87%
ET: JAK2 = 60%, CALR = 25%
PM: JAK2 = 50%, CALR = 35%

What drugs do you use to harvest HSC from the blood?
A
GCSF to make more HSC.
Plerixafor to release the HSCs into the blood stream (it cuts CXCR4 and SDF-1)
