A
Average content of hemoglobin per RBC.

A
The average concentration of hemoglobin in a given volume of packed RBCs. MCHC is low if the RBCs are hypochromic.

The average volume of a RBC. Normal range: 80-100.

Variation of RBC volume. A high RDW = lots of size variation.
