Q

what is teh HR like in 3rd degree

A

in the absence of signals from SAN the AVN can generate a HR of about 40bpm

Q

how does supraventicular tachycardia present

A

episodic sudden onset of very a fast pulse rate, and a fluttering sensation within chest. Pulse at the time can be greater than 200 beats per minute. Each episode lasts typically for few minutes and then reverts spontaneously. 24 hour tape recording normal.
