Direct tissue damage
Thermal Damage
Secondary trauma
Musculoskeletal - Tetany (servere muscle contraction) significant fractures, compartment syndrome, rhabdomyolysis
Cardiovascular - VF, myocardial damage, ongoing conduction issues, vessel rupture, thrombosis, third space shifting
Resp - Resp arrest, pulmonary injury
Neuro - Siezures, spinal chord injury, nerve injury
Do we need to call back up for airway burns
YES!!! these becomes highly acute very quickly so it is best for calling for RSI
