Tell me more about the health and safety site inductions you made. In what capacity?

A

The purpose of the induction is to make people aware of the Health and Safety requirements of the project by explaining the ISG team members and their roles, the facilities provided on site, site layout & security, site specifics (fire exits, assembly points etc.), traffic management, training & competency required, PPE required, housekeeping & site awareness, working at height, Method Statements & Risk Assessments, Permit Systems, ISG Procedures, Environmental, other information, and COVID-19.

Tell me more about your involvement in the health and safety audits.

A

I would walk the site with the ISG heath and safety manager while they were doing their audit. After they completed the audit they would issue the audit report and I would highlight any improvements that would be required on site.

A

When subcontracting I have:
* Thought about what the work will involve.
* checked that the contractor is competent by ensuring they are on the ISG supply chain database and reviewing previous projects.
* Provided any relevant information about the property to the contractor before work starts, such as the tender documents, fit out guide and the logistics plan.
