How does GDPR affect your working activities?

A

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) affects all businesses in the UK that collect personal data about their customers. The law creates obligations on your business around that personal data, how you collect it and what you do with it. Importantly, the fines for breaching GDPR are substantial.

A

Check whether a router has encryption features, and if so, enable them. If employees will be working remotely, you may want to provide your employees with a firewall that improves the security of their Wi-Fi, especially those employees with access to a large amount of sensitive data.
