How does planning permission impact on design?
Planning permission can decide whether or not a project can go ahead and even if planning permission is granted, there may be some caveats about the design details that are used.

The different ages of buildings can be affect the construction methods used as newer buildings use modern methods of construction such as timber and steel frames and precast concrete foundations to name a few.

- Central air conditioning (or central A/C) is a system in which air is cooled at a central location and distributed to and from rooms by one or more fans and ductwork.
What do you understand by the term bus bar?
A busbar is an electrical junction used for collecting electric power from the incoming feeders and distributes them to the outgoing feeders. The main purpose of a busbar is to carry electricity and distribute it.
Where would you expect to see such an item?
In commercial buildings you can find busbars in the risers to distribute power from power distribution units to each floor. You can then also find busbars underneath the floor to distribute power across the floor.
