Flight Controls Flashcards
When do you get a FORCE TRIM INTERPT?
> 4 sec interrupted on the ground
NR > 60% and force on via MPD
What is the EHV? What does it do?
Electro Hydraulic Valve. FMC send Electrical input to hydraulic movement in SAS LVDT sleeve in LAP assembly. Pressurizes on side and depressurizes other side. LVDT reports back to FMC.
LVDT?
Linear Variable Differential Transducer. Voltage in Voltage out
CAS?
FMC receives signals from flights control LVDTs send signals to EHV
SAS?
Rate Dampening
Turn Coordination
Atmospheric Upset Dampening
FMC looks at INU input against flight control LVDTs
Heave dampening?
Dampens up and down from aerodynamic forces
Interrupting force trim?
Sends 28 VDc to FMC, FMC will re center SAS sleeve.
LVDT voltage?
26 Vac from ELC2
