Promotion policy/marketing communication mix- advertising, sales promotion, personal sales and publicity
Product must
Satisfy the needs of the consumers.
Must be sold at a price that the consumer is prepared to pay, goods must be distributed to a place that is convenient for the consumer and the consumer must be informed about the availability of the product
Market research will
Investigate the size of the market, in other words if there is enough people that would be interested to buy the product (if the business will be able to ame a profit).
What price they’re prepared to pay, when and where they want it etc.
Methods of market research
Telephone, questionnaires and personal interviews
