spiritual figures similar to priests in pre-Christian Celtic Ireland.
What is a monastery?
A closed religious community
What is a beehive hut?
a small beehive shaped hut where monks slept

men who dedicated their lives to God and a religious order

Where the monks would pray and attend Mass
What is a scriptorium?
Where monks spent long periods of time copying manuscripts by hand.

Where the monks ate their meals
