  • Hypovolemic shock in which complete fluid resuscitation has not occurred
  • Pheochromocytoma (small vascular tumor of the adrenal medulla, causing irregular secretion of epinephrine and norepinephrine, leading to attacks of raised bp, palpitations, and headache)
