Churns food and mixes acids to break down nutrients and minerals

Squeezes food down and passes nutrients to bloodstream through villi
Large intestine
Pushes food down
Liver
Makes bile to break down fat stores nutrients, breaks down toxins
Gallbladder
Bile is stored in it
Pancreas
Makes and stores sodium bicarbonate that settles the acid in chyme before entrance to the small intestine
Rectum
Stores feces before expelled
Anus
Expels feces
