When does the SLRP arrive at the offload site and what do they do?
The SLRP arrives several days ahead of the MB to survey the site and liaison with the HN. Collect information on what facilities and services are available and able to be utilized by arriving forces.
Who is part of the SLRP?
- Around 66 MAGTF and 19 NSE.
- S3, Waterside OPS Officer, Camp Czar, CMAA, S4A, and purchasing agent
What is the role of the OPP?
The OPP is a temporary, task-specific organization of watercraft and equipment operations and maintenance personnel that embark on each MPSRON ship to prepare NSE lighterage and embarked equipment and supplies for offload.
What is the timeline for the OPP?
O-4: OPP boards the MPS
O-1: Transits and arrives
Who is part of the OPP?
- Around 45 personnel per MPS
- SDO, RRDF, boat crews, some ALFA, logistics support
What is the role of the AP?
To arrange for the reception of the MB. Camp construction, berthing arrangement, beach party team, and communications.
What is the timeline for the AP?
Flies in about O-4
What is the mission of ACB-1?
To provide logistics-over-the-shore support to COMPACFLT amphibious forces and MPF operations including ship-to-shore transportation of combat cargo, bulk fuel/water, and tactical camp operations.
