What is the purpose of the Consolidated Shipboard/Shorebased Allowance List (COSAL/COSBAL) in relation to the command mission and sustainability?
COSAL establishes equipage allowance for the ships and the storeroom allowance of repair parts for installed equipment. It covers all electronics, ordnance, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
What is the COSAL validation process?
During battalion turnover, weapons and communication equipment in COSAL will be reviewed.

Operating Target: an estimate of the amount of money required by a unit to perform a task or functions assignment.
What is the Departmental Budget Report (DBR)?
The DBR is produced for each department or reimbursable OPTAR.
What is the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Services?

What is the criteria for which a requisition cancellation request is warranted for the TOA?
- Ship is scheduled for inactivation.
- Requirement for material no longer exists.
- Ship expects to deploy before material is expected to be received and cannot be forwarded.
Define Plant Property.
Property with a unit cost of $100,000 or more and a useful life greater than 2 years.
Define Minor Property.
Unit cost between $2,500 and $100,000 and acquired for immediate use.
What qualifies as a control item?
Controlled Inventory Item Code (CIIC) designates the degree of physical security assigned to an item of supply.
What is the purpose of the Table of Allowance (TOA)?
TOA identifies and quantifies the basic personnel, material, and equipment for the performance of the unit’s mission(s) contingency, wartime, and disaster recovery operations.
What is the purpose of the Allowance Change Request (ACR)?
The ACR is also known as NAVSUP Form 1220-2, or formal letters are the prescribed documents to request items addition/deletion or quantity changed.
What is NAVSUP 1250-1/1250-2?
NAVSUP 1250-1: Single line item consumption/requisition document.
NAVSUP 1250-2: Non-NSN requisition.
What is DD-1348?
Issue/Receipt Release Document (IIRD). Used with scanner equipment.
What is NAVSUP 1149?
Requisitioning and invoice/shipping document

Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL). Used to document the report of survey and certify the survey process when government property is lost, damaged, or destroyed.
