Schedules of Reinforcement
- Fixed-Interval Schedules - response is rewarded only after a specified amount of time has elapsed ->more responses near the end of the interval
- Variable-interval schedule - response is rewarded after an unpredictable amount of time has passed -> slow, steady rate of response
- Fixed-ratio schedules - response is reinforced after a specific number of responses -> high steady rate of responding
- Variable-ratio scheduls - response is reinforced after an unpredictable number of responses -> high steady rate of responding
