- Openness (being curious, creative, and open to new ideas)
- Conscientiousness (being organized, systematic, and dependable)
- Extraversion (Being outgoing, talkative, enjoying social situations)
- Agreeableness (Being tolerant, sensitive and warm)
- Neuroticism (being anxious, irritable, and moody)

Machiavellianism
person who believes that ends justify the means -> doing whatever it takes to win. (related to higher task performance but negative outcomes for others like bullying)
Dark Triad
combination of Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy
Self-monitoring
self-observation and self-control guided by situational cues to social appripriateness. High self-monitors are very adaptable to siautaions, and low self-monitors are not able to pretend that they are someone that they are not.

Fundamental premises that individuals hold about themselves and their functioning in the world. High core self-evaluation -> feeling of competence and control
High vs Low core self-evaluation
High -> more likely to speak up and make suggestions to improve the work, early job and career success
Person-Organization fit
Match between a persons values and the valuations of theorganization. Goodfit leads tobetter communication, increased predictability, interpersonal attraction and trust in the organization.
