What was the boston tea party?

A

Dumping 18,000 pounds of tea into boston harbor by colonists protesting the tea acts. Tea was very popular. Sons of liberty were hammered drunk wanted to rebel so dumped tea.

A

Written by Thomas Paine 50 page pamphlet. British was taking advantage by having taxation without representation and quartering troops. It was common sense to separate colonies from Britain
