why did the amount of students attending school increase by times 7?
because the gov passed a law saying it was amndatory to go to school from 1st grade till you were 16yrs old

where did AA establish their own neighborhood ?
harlem - NY where other AA live -> familiar with culture was supported and then accepted by others
How did african a get others to accept them ?
wrote of own experiences in poetry about the South, success in harlem, unfairtreatment (discrimination)
