Q

max exercise

A

looks like mountain
anticiaptory rise due to release of adrenaline
increase in HR due to anaerobic work
heart rate continues to rise due to max workloads stressing naerobic systems
rapid decline in HR as soon as exercise stops

Q

sub max exercise

A

anticipatory rise due to stress hormone adrenmaile causing sa node to increase HR
increase in HR due to anaerobic work
steady state as athletes oxygen supply has met their oxygen demand
rpadi decline in hr as exercise stops
slow recovery as body systems return to resting levels

Q

how does a trained performer and untrained performer differ

A

trained perfomer tens to have a stronger heart/cardiac muscles whoch produces stronger forces of contractions (hypertrophy) enable more blood to be pumped out increase SV
bradycardia-resting hr of below 60 bpm
greater end diastolic volume-have more blood in heart then untrained athlete, more blood in heart to then be ejected out of heart, increase in SV, if can push more blood out and have higher forces of contraction then heart does not have to beat as often (bradycardia)

acroyn-happy days bad days
hypertrophy dialsitc volume bradycardia
