Q

When and how to use order of reactivity rules

A

More reactive metals displace less reactive metals from their aqueous ions. Meaning they will became the metal in the solution and the percipitate will be the former metal.

More reactive metals reduce oxides of less reactive metals. Meaning they will became the metal in the oxide.
