Q

What does the branch of the aorta called the coeliac trunk supply and what are its branches?

A

The superior organs

  1. superior mesenteric artery supplied the small intestine and the start of the large
  2. the renal arteries supply the kidneys

Q

What are the superficial veins of the lower limb?

A

The great saphenous vein (big toe up the front) and the small saphenous vein (little toe up the back)

16
Q

What does the hepatic portal system do?

A

Drains the organs via the hepatic portal vein which takes everything except large fats which go through the lymphatics
