Who is responsible for activation of earthquake emergency mode?
MFC
The department wide notification simulcast by MFC shall be on what channels?
1,2,3,4,5,6,7 8,9 and 11
In addition to the notification of the department entering Earthquake emergency mode, what additional info shall MFC include?
Indicate their status as to operational capabilities
What are EMS district supervisors are responsible for?
Assisting division and battalion commander’s in setting up the necessary emergency medical organizations (Mac, Red Cross, county health)
Where shall Battalion commanders and Division commander’s set up operational command?
Their respective headquarters for their pre-designated safe location site
What responsibilities fall to the chief engineer or DDC?
Establish department policy and guidelines, provide coordination and control of all operations, participate in city’s emergency ops organization as needed EOC activation
