Hypersensitivity - cross sensitizing, cross reacting; IgE mediated

Maculopapular rash - occurs after 72 hrs; NOT IgE mediated
*common during infectious mononucleosis (Amoxicillin, Ampicillin)

*diarrhea (Ampicillin), N/V, oral candidiasis

Hematologic disturbances (Ticarcillin)
