2
Q
You treat the dystonic reaction with benztropine. What is the mechanism of action of benztropine?
A
Benztropine blocks the muscarinic cholinergic receptors. It is an anti-cholinergic, anti-muscarinic.
3
Q

A
Tachycardia, sedation, mydriasis, urinary retention, dry mouth.
