Amari Flashcards
Amari - are
a wide ranging class of liqueurs, traditionally from Italy. They are described as having a bitter-sweet flavor, and are sometimes syrupy. They are typically made by macerating herbs, roots, flowers, bark, and citrus peel in alcohol. The exact blends going into each amaro is a closely guarded secret.
