What consitutes epiplectus status?

How is it managed?

A

> 5mins

This is from beginning of seizure

5mins = IV lorazepam
15mins (from start of seizure) = IV lorazepam

if still no repsonse = IV phenytonin

If pre-hospital setting
PR diazepam (Diazepam = Derriere) or Buccal midazolam (Midazolam = Mouth)
