631 Loss of Compressor Flashcards
1.1 IMMEDIATE ACTIONS
CCR 1.1.1 - REDUCE feed rate to minimum (~350bph for 630 unit) (~450bph for 631 unit) once the compressor shuts down.
CCR/Oper 1.1.2 - ENSURE the 630F0001 and 631F0002, Rx Heater SIS has activated, ISOLATING the fuel gas to the burner.
CCR/Oper 1.1.3 - CHECK for cause of compressor shutdown.
*High level in Makeup Knockout Drum
*High level in Recycle Knockout Drum
*High Motor Amps
1.1.4 - IF the cause of the shutdown can be resolved within 10 minutes of the compressor shutdown, PERFORM the following:
CCR/Oper A. CORRECT the issue that caused the compressor shutdown
Oper B. ATTEMPT TO RESTART the Compressor or START the Spare Compressor.
Oper 1.1.5 - IF the cause of the compressor shutdown can NOT be resolved within 10 minutes of the compressor shutdown, or the compressor will not restart, REMOVE the feed pump from service.
CCR/Oper 1.1.6 - NOTIFY Oil Movements that 630/631 units will be bypassed and to line up product to off test tank. IF in Renewable Diesel service, NOTIFY Oil Movements that 631 Normal release line will be cleared with 635 Diesel.
1.1.7 - DIVERT feed away from 630 and 631 units by performing the following:
CCR A. NOTIFY Crude Console operator to divert feed from 630 and 631 unit.
Oper B. OPEN the 630 Feed to Product manual bypass valve at plot edge.
Oper C. CLOSE 6” Feed inlet chain valve at 630 and 631 Feed Surge Drum.
CCR D. IF in Renewable Diesel service, SHUTDOWN Tank 100 pumps.
CCR 1.1.8 NOTIFY Heavy HDS Console operator to divert 633 Overhead away from 630 unit.
1.1.9 - REDUCE 630/631 unit pressure by performing the following:
Oper A. CLOSE Make Up Hydrogen isolation valve.
CCR/Oper B. OPEN 60PC0005 DEA Contactor Pressure Controller until the plant Hydrogen header pressure is reached.
Oper C. ALIGN 60PC0005 DEA Contactor Pressure Controller to the High Line (Fuels) and continue to reduce unit pressure unit it is below Makeup Hydrogen pressure.
Oper D. ALIGN Make Up Hydrogen to 630/631 bypassing the Compressor at the manifold.
CCR/Oper E. SWEEP unit to the High Line until liquid has been removed from the Rx Beds.
1.1.10 - IF in Renewable Diesel service, CLERAR 631 Renewable Diesel normal release line with 635 Diesel, by performing the following:
Oper A. NOTIFY Oil movements of intent to clear the 631 Renewable Diesel normal release line with 635 Diesel.
Oper B. LINE UP 635 Diesel to the 631 Normal release line.
Oper C. CLOSE the 631 product release valve to prevent 635 Diesel from backing into the unit.
1.2 SUPPLEMENTAL ACTIONS
NOTIFY FLS of the time we started backflowing 635 Diesel for accounting purposes.
THIS IS THE END OF THE PROCEDURE
