Deep pit or socket in mandible or maxillae

Flattened or shallow depression

Make skull lighter, resonate sound, warm and humidify air

Gelatinous fluid, high water content to absorb stress.
What makes up the annulus fibrosus?
Outer layer is ligament. Inner layer fibrocartilage

Seven. T1-T7
How many false ribs and what numbers are they?
Five. T8-T12
What numbers are the floating ribs?
T11-T12
What is a cleft lip/cleft palate?
Incomplete fusion of the two facial maxilae

Kyphosis.

What is phocomelia?
Short, poorly formed, fin-like limb.
