A
  1. Surface mucous–secrete mucin to protect stomach from acid
  2. Mucus Neck cells–secrete acidic mucin
  3. Parietal cells–secrete hydrochloric acid, Gastric Intrinsic factor
  4. Chief Cells–secret pepsinogen (converted to pepsin by acid)
  5. Enteroendocrine cells–secret hormones, gastrin and somatostatin
