Field supervisors responsibility when responding to a bomb threat with a located device
- Responds to, and assumes command of the scene
- Brief ARMOR supervisor of all relevant matters
- Set up ICS
- A responsible person from the establishment will be advised and an evacuation will be initiated
- On high rise buildings at least 2 floors above and 2 floors below will be evacuated
- People inside the mandatory evacuation zone must be evacuated, other may shelter in place
- Assign additional officer to the primary location to assist in communications
- Remains at scene with additional officer to assist ARMOR and prevent unauthorized access
How many command and control locations will be established when an explosive device, or suspected explosive device has been located?
- Two
- Tactical operations center (placed by AROMR supervisor)
