Why do cells need water
It is what most chemical reactions take place in plus body fluids are made from it
Carbohydrates
Major energy source for the body. They contain fiber which helps your muscles move
Fats
They are lipids and help the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins.
Proteins
They are from polymers and amino acids. They supply raw materials for for growth and repair of structures such as skin and muscle
Vitamins
They are organic molecules that the body needs usually in small amounts. They are needed by the body to help perform chemical reactions
Minerals
They are inorganic nutrients that the body needs usually in small amounts. They are used for different things like bone and tooth formation with calcium.
