R. Lympaphatic duct
- drains the right side of upper body, so R. side of liver/heart.
- The R. Lymphatic duct drains into the R.subclavian vein
Thoracic duct
- drains the rest of the body
* Thoracic duct drains into the L.subclavian vein
atherosclerosis
thickening or hardening of the arteries caused by a buildup of plaque in the inner lining of an artery
deep vein thrombosis
a medical condition that occurs when a blood clot forms in a deep vein. These clots usually develop in the lower leg, thigh, or pelvis, but they can also occur in the arm.
Claudication
pain in your thigh, calf, or buttocks that happens when you walk. It can make you limp. It may be a symptom of peripheral artery disease (PAD)
Ischema
deficient supply of oxygenated arterial blood to a tissue, caused by obstruction of a blood vessel

Claudication distance
the amount of blocks walked/stairs climbed that produces pain
varicose veins
swollen twisted and sometimes painful veins that have filled with abnormal collection of blood
Homan’s sign
a sign of deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
discomfort behind the knee upon forced dorsiflexion of the foot.
