Monde - a lot of people, a crowd (ex: il y a du monde = ‘there’s a lot of people’; beaucoup de monde = ‘a lot of people’)

Il y avait trop de monde au restaurant hier: 10 personnes attendaient dans la rue. Les gens n’étaient pas contents et sont finalement partis.
