Indication: Insomnia
SE: Drugged state, somnolence, visual disturbance, tachycardia, suicidal thoughts
Clinical Pearls:
-Avoid alcohol or other CNS antidepressants
- Do not take if you haven’t had 7-8 hours of sleep before being active again
-for short term use only (call doc if insomnia not resolved in 7-10 days)
-Store at room temp + away from moisture and heat
-Don’t stop suddenly after long term use (withdrawal symptoms)
-Insomnia may return and/or worsen after stopping discontinuation (call doc if so)
