Indication: HTN
SE: SCr, electrolytes
Clinical Pearls:
-Can take with or without food
-Maintain adequate hydration (dehydration can lead to low BP or electrolyte imbalance)
- vomiting, diarrhea, sweating more than usual –> call doctor
- continue use even if you are feeling good (HTN is symptomless)
-Store at room temp + away from moisture, heat, freezing
Drug ineffective for pts w/ CrCl 30 mg/mL
