Indication: Bacterial Infections
SE: Prolong QT interval
Clinical Pearls:
-Finish treatment even if you are feeling better
-Take with or without food
-No antacids (magnesium, calcium) 2 hours before or after
-Can cause diarrhea
- Store at room temp. + away from heat/moisture
-may cause n/v, stomach pain, headache
CI: history of cholestatic jaundice, hepatic dysfunction w/ AZM use
