Indication: Bacterial infections
SE: hypersensitivity reactions (verify any penicillin allergies)
Clinical Pearls:
-Swallow whole, do not crush or chew
-Can take with or without food (take w/ food if upset stomach)
-Finish the treatment even if feeling better
-can cause N/V, or diarrhea
-If rash occurs, discontinue med and contact pharmacy/prescriber
-Store at room temp. + away from moisture, heat, and light
-liquid amox. can be refrigerated (not necessary), expires 14 days after mixing
