Indication: depression
SE: suicidal thoughts, serotonin syndrome, reduced libido
Clinical Pearls:
-Can take with or without food (take at same time daily)
-
-Avoid activities that require mental alertness or coordination until drug effects realized
-Avoid sudden discontinuation (may cause agitation, confusion, tingling, electric shock)
avoid alcohol
-Avoid taking w/ other stimulants, antidepressants, opioids, certain herbal supps (Serotonin Syndrome)
-Keep at room temp. + away from moisture + heat
BBW: increased risk of suicidal behavior in children, adolescents, young adults; concomitant use w/ MAOI, linezolid, or IV methylene blue, or use w/in 14 days
