A

York summoned at Council at Coventry but refused and he issued a manifesto blaming Somerset for failings in England and France. Henry issued commissions of array to gather men. York marched to London with men and they closed the gates and lots of nobles had joined Henry. Henry agreed to lock up Somerset and York dismissed his army. Anjou ordered Somerset to be freed and York was virtually a prisoner and had to apologise at St Paul’s Cathedral.

A

Henry summoned York at council on Leicester but York turned up with 3,000 men and Henry had less than 2,000 men. Warwick arrived unexpectedly and and within half an hour 60 men were killed including Somerset, Clifford, and Northumberland.

Battle lasted half an hour as Lancastrians were outnumbered and quickly defeated. Buckingham, Shrewsbury, Egremont and Beaumont were killed guarding King’s tent. Henry was taken alive on Warwick’s orders. York is still in Ireland.
